Who is WPL?

While the Elliotts, Impact, Tri Palms or NWN brought the ideas for the products, it was him creating or supervising the legal documents.

It is not surprising that he maintained himself in the background since the Miami Lawsuit came up.

He orchestrated all lawsuits against any investor claiming justice. As per Jacqueline Pullman's discussions on other blogs we can see that he is still using the same strategies today through Paula Gustafson.

Derek Elliott about selling notes

We only have received this single file from Derek's Miami Deposition until now. The investigator/lawyer wants to know how much money was received for the Promissory Notes sold to Aviati. Fact is that they received between $400,000 to $500,000 only. [click here to see]

We must shut these people down

Pablo Chavez, Tom Turbitt, Reinhold Dresler.
PC- is to be claimed for breach of contract and theft of corporate documents
Turbitt and Dresler for possession of stolen property
Anything else?
I had a conversation with John Toews yesterday who could be a witness. He was at Tom Turbitt’s house on several occasions where he says:
“His house is set up like a battleground with sensitive documents ad corporate information everywhere.”
John advises that he was offered our database and files and refused to accept them in his possession.
We must shut these people down. They are clearly trying to cause harm.

Communications about Turbitt

Too much to buy him out right now. He is in all of the pre-EMISV deals and all of his shareholdings will take a haircut on the conversion. He will have a shit hemorrhage when he gets the final numbers. Maybe that will be the time to suggest a buy-out. I'll put it on my agenda for September.

The Sun Village Juan Dolio Fractions

A sample how Elliotts made business:

You purchased a Passport Superior Condo Fraction in Phase 2 for $42,188.
You financed 50% ($21,094) and paid the other 50% (21,094) down.
For the financed portion you signed a promissory note to pay $21,094 in 60 installments. You are told that payments are due at hotel opening. But you just signed that you will start making payments within the next few months. The future due date at the promissory note is the suggested Grand Opening Date, which made sense.
Now in September 2008 the Elliotts adjusted the value of your fraction. Instead of $42,188 they say your fraction is only worth $15,939. But they did not reduce your purchase price from $42,188. And you still need to pay the financing of $21,094.

Clients who refused to pay are being sued for not fulfilling their obligations to Elliott.

Players Tom Turbitt and Reinhold Dresler

Tom Turbitt and Reinhold Dresler are the first investors realizing that their investments at Sun Village were misused and tried to act against Elliotts. They presented their reasonable doubts at the Shareholder meetings and pushed Elliott to present explanations. These initial heroes ended up facing lawsuits or threats against them from Sun Village Lawyer Will Lambert / Gardiner-Roberts.

Player Jacqueline Pullman

Jacqueline Pullman is a Sun Village Investor. No public profile is available at this moment.

It appears that her initial motivation was to save the Sun Village properties which were threatened by the upcoming lawsuit. At the beginning she supported the Elliott base due to the information provided to her. She tried to intervene at the Miami Court and also tried to help the Elliott's to gain the investors trust.

"I purchased directly from the Elliotts and I received time share product which clearly stated that it was not guaranteed, it was very risky, and I knew what I was purchasing." (source: Preliminary Injunction Hearing from April 1, 2009)

After realizing that she was mislead by Elliotts' she created her own base defending the investors interests against Elliott and Impact. Today, after the Sun Village Projects are lost she tries to bring the responsible parties to justice.

Player James Catledge

Personal - James Catledge was born in Charlotte, North Carolina and grew up in Memphis, Tennessee. Raised by a single mother, James worked odd jobs to afford good clothes and any extras. James paid his own way through college and his two-year LDS mission. James’s mother, Janie, made certain he achieved the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest honor in scouting. Janie said, “No Eagle means no driver’s license,” and that was all he needed to know. When James was a young man, his mother also gave him great advice. She told him it was more important to be focused and to dream big rather than just to dream. She promised if he did that, he could accomplish anything. After graduation from high school, James moved west to attend college. At age 19 he was called to serve a mission for his church. As a missionary he found his passion in serving others. Working in northern California he was able to serve hundreds. Later he enrolled at Brigham Young University where he studied Business and Communications. James has been married to his lovely wife Tiffany for 15 years. He is also an avid golfer and is a current USGA member and maintains an active golf index.
Business - James knew when he started his career that he wanted to accomplish big things. He has always had a desire to make a difference. Joining a large financial services group, he realized immediately that he had found a vehicle to accomplish this goal. He was coached and mentored well, and he learned every aspect of financial services. By the age of 29, he had become the principal "Communicator" for the company. By 35 James had built a team that included several thousand agents across America. He was now sharing his passion and mastery of financial services with other leaders as well as his unique talent for business building. James identified the need to bring unbiased advice to families and proceeded to launch his own company. The focus would be to teach people about money and to help families be more responsible for their own net worth. Now thousands of associates and tens of thousands of clients have been taught these principles. Today James is a business entrepreneur still dedicated to making a difference.
As a powerful public speaker, James receives numerous requests to speak about success principles at universities and corporate events.
